Hey! Let's talk about tournament submissions for the Marsh Masters Fishing Competition.

We want to keep things fair and fun for everyone, so here are a few quick things to remember when you're logging your catch.

First, make sure your fish is photographed on an approved measuring board with the entire fish visible from nose to tail.

The fish's mouth needs to be closed and touching the starting point of the measuring device, and we need to clearly see the head, eyes, tail, and measurement markings in the photo.

Most importantly, every submission photo must include #MarshMasters on a physical object in the picture. Write it on a piece of paper, a notepad, a card, whatever you've got handy. Just make sure it's in the photo when you take it. It cannot be added later with editing.

Photos should be taken at the time of the catch, and the fish must be caught and submitted by the participant entering it into the competition.

If a photo is blurry, measurements are covered, or we can't verify the catch, the entry may not be accepted. Tournament officials may also ask for additional photos or videos if needed.

And one thing we'd love to see: if you're practicing catch and release, snap an extra photo of the fish being released back into the water.
